Nice strumming, Mike. You know, your image reminds me a Duke Robillard, I hope you will playing like him soon.

You have a great playing technique. It all came over with a great groove. Well done.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Strong performance and congratulations on nailing Ep 329. It is one that I can only dream of playing (only made it to the 2nd bar) but certainly one that is great to watch others able to play it.

Really great, Mike. I think that’s the first video I’ve seen of you playing and it was very impressive. What guitar are you playing, it had a really full balanced sound.

Thanks for all of the positive feedback. Brian’s rhythm lessons with some lead fills are so great to play.
The guitar is an Epiphone masterbuilt. I just mic’d the amp with a mv88 plugged into an ipad but I don’t think it connected. It sounded more like just the ipad internal mic. So many of you do great videos. That’s something I really need to work on.Mike

Strong syncopated strumming Mike, you certainly nailed that one with a beautiful tone from a gorgeous guitar.
Just out of interest, my recordings are the same set up, ie an iRig Condenser Mike aimed at the amp and connected direct into an iPad.Richard

Well played, Mike – pretty much flawless, I would say. And your audio and video were great quality also. Nice lesson choice.

Wow, Mike. Listened to yours first, then listened to Brian’s original, then yours again. I don’t see how anyone could play it better.
Very impressive, very entertaining! All your stuff seems top notch.

This sounded very good Mike. It really lived up to the name ‘ragtime.’ The ‘soul’ of ragtime is there… You created that feel very well. Good driving rhythm, too. Hide

Hi Mike, we picked the same lesson! So this means I know it well, but I must say that yours is a lot better than my own, your strumming rhythm is very consistent, and I didn’t hear any flaws – well done.

Hello Mike.
As all said before, really good strumming in your one. You play with confidence and with a good sense of tempo.
Welcome to monthly challenges btw…
