Denise! That’s absolutely gorgeous! You have played beautifully, the tone is to die for, and that Gretsch is a looker too!😍
Congratulations on your first post, there’s nothing to apologize for (especially not for boobs! 😉 ) Love your playing and I hope there will be more soon! Maybe the July challenge?🎸JoLa

Smooth, relaxed, great tone, and those Wes Montgomery-style octaves are major league moves. Well done, Denise; hope to see more.

I agree with JoLa, Billy and C.M. That was Major League Denise. The octave slides, the tone an that darn gorgeous gitfiddle!!! You better prepare for the July Challenge because us Yinzers at AM need more of that great stuff!

Denise,
Well done!
That’s a tricky piece for a first performance, and you played it sweetly on that Gretsch. Hope to hear more!

Excellent job and great first submission. I simply love that lesson and have been working on it myself. You really got it down and that guitar is perfect for this type of music.

Great job, Denise. I don’t know if you are aware of it, but you included some nice dynamics in there, which is a fairly advanced technique. I’m guessing you’ve been a closet guitar player for quite a while, since your fingering and timing was spot on. More please!

Wow, what a first submission! You played that so well and the tone you made with your fingers and that guitar was so good. You played that so well that you inspired me to go back and find that lesson – holy smokes, that’s a tough one for your first submission! Look forward to seeing and hearing more. Well done!!
