Superb playing , your right blues by yourself is always a winner and forces you to nail that timing , that was so smooth and fluent . Great stuff .

That was a beautiful rendition Patrick, so smooth with a superb tone. You’ve obviously put some work into that to achieve that level and it’s certainly payed dividends.
NB: Just an observation if I may, your audio is slightly ahead of your video.Richard

Hi Richard! Thanks a lot! I noticed the out sync of the audio.
I am using Movavi movie maker software. It’s not easy to displace the audio and it was late night.
You can only do it with the cursor which is not practicable.Cheers!

Its hard to hold one’s own without any backing and you certainly did that very well indeed. Very skillful the way you used the combination of fingers and pick to get some of the chord sounds. Beautiful expression and tone too.

Thanks Geoff! Love these blues by yourself! To me that’s the ultimate goal on the guitar, being able to play a tune from beginning to end without accompaniment. Useful too when you are being asked to play your guitar and you have something to play than licks!

Thanks Alan! It’s not a Les Paul, one day maybe. It’s a Sire Larry Carlton L7.More affordable. Plays great!

My most favorite lesson in AM of all time, John. You did it perfect, there´s no much people who can do it better.

Patrick,
I watched your Hucklebuck video. That was truly impressive. Did you learn it directly from the Junior Watson videos?

Thank you John for watching this! I did the transcription from the Canned Heat Reheated album. Watson used to play with them. It took me quite some time but it was fun. Doing this kind of work does not make you a better improviser. I need to go back to these phrases analyze them and incorporate them in my playing.
Cheers!

Hi Patrick
I just came across your submission today. You played that beautifully and I’m really liking the tone as others have mentioned.
I also use Amplitube 5 SE and play an Epiphone Standard LP 60’s. Do you remember the name of the preset you used or did you build it yourself?
By the way…we’ll done!
-
April 28, 2021 at 7:43 pm #250454
Hi Ivan!
Thank you very much!
I believe I build the preset myself. I checked if I had kept it but unfortunately no!
Amplitube 5 is a great tool!Cheers,
Patrick
