Stuart,
That sounded terrific! You had the tone down perfectly and sounds and looks like you’ve been playing for quite some time.

Thanks Tim! Played quite a bit when I was younger, recently picked it back up. I really like these lessons and the opportunity to interact with the other people who use them.

Sounds really good John! Impressed that you played it finger style, something I’m not that great at.

Hi Stuart,
I was just admiring your vibrato in the 282 thread and now I got to see your picking and bends. Impressive all around. Can’t imagine why you stopped playing. I think you’re going to have a good time here.

That was really great Stuart. Share more recordings with us with us please. We can all learn from you. I’ve been working on this one too now since it came out and hope to record and share it real soon. I have 3/4 of it memorized and replaying it everyday so I don’t lose it. Geeezzz. Lol

Kind words James, thank you. Good that you’re willing to put the effort into practicing, no substitute for good old fashioned hard work 😊

Alright Stuart! You definitely have the Tele-Twang thang down pat. Did you play in Buck Owens band? 🙂 Great debut!

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Stuart that was impeccably played. Great choice and your tone is great as well. If you don’t mind me asking what is your set up? are you playing through and amp or your audio work station. Very inspiring!!!

Thank you John, I was playing through my ’68 Custom Deluxe Reverb RI. I believe I was just using a Boss compressor pedal and some room reverb from a tc electronics HOF pedal.

Welcome Stuart, perfectly played country track. You play great guitar.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Awesome… Stuart there’s no tone like a Tele and a Fender Deluxe Reverb!
