Hi
I had much fun learning and playing this Setzer style Rockabilly with my Chetty guitar!!
Well, it’s miles away from Brian’s (real Rockabilly) tempo. I could play it faster but then struggled all the time.
So it’s about 140bpm only. Thanks for your feedback.

Wow Denise! You’re really rockin’ it at the moment. Alternate picking, licks, chords, turn arounds, it’s all happening. You’ve also got that Brian Setzer sound (and the guitar to boot!). But the ending … dynamic, with attitude finale. You’re playing is now reaching another level of expertise. Well done and all the best!

Super cool Denise, a beautiful sound and hats off to you for playing that with a pick. I could only attempt that in fingerstyle mode.

Hi Denise,
I agree it is better to play it a bit too slow, but good than fast and sloppy. 140BPM is not wrong, I will not imitate you. Your sound is great, your rhythm is consistent.

Great tone and accurate picking on this fun lesson. I agree with AM members above that you are taking your playing to the next level.

Hi Denise, once again you’ve nailed the tone , you got your chetty just singing, slowing the track down is absolutely the way to go , smoothness and articulation is far more important than speed , like others members have mentioned your playing is now on the next level , practice makes perfect . Great stuff .

Love it! Not too many rockabilly vids on here… …My preference for guitar color is black or white…I know boring …but I love that color orange!
Live on planet Earth ? You got the blues.

Denise that was spectacular. Tempo was fine. Love the guitar tone, delay and use of tremolo bar. Very authentic sounding.

As always Denise. You don’t dissapoint. I haven’t done that particular lesson but those rockabilly style things Brian does are tough, I really loved your tone and the feel you put into this one.

I agree with all the comments above. Great playing, perfect timing, very enjoyable to listen to! It’s astonishing how people like you can make such improvements in such a short time! If I was that fast in improving now I would be like Clapton, Gilmour and May, all of them combined 😂!

Cool and groovy, Denise. I loved it. No mistakes and 140 bpm is pretty fast. Impressive! Looking forward to the 160-version! 👍🏽

Outstanding achievement Denise.
I like your sound and your game. Stay tuned.Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Speed is OVER-RATED as me Yinzer buddy John H said! Denise, you have progressed sooooooo much over the last 10 months! When you first joined AM last May, like me, it was “deer in the headlights!” Now, you take on all the lessons and submit wonderful amazing stuff! Congrats and you rock woman!
