Hello,
I think EP179 is another beautiful song by Brian. I recently recorded it but forgot to post it.
Since I find it difficult to remember those EPxxx numbers, I like to give names to the pieces.
My question to you, what does EP179 remind you of?
A little in my direction, like the title I give to it, or you think / feel something completely different.Cordial greetings
Luc

Thank You Billy,
It’s getting colder, this may have been the last time I can play in the garden this year.

Beautiful playing Luc. Gives me the feeling of sitting on an island having a cool drink. Really sweet tone coming from your guitar, great feel and accurate playing. All the best!

Tnx John,
Thank you for noticing that my timing is good. When I listen to my recordings from last year, I hear that my timing has indeed improved.

Tnx Dave,
The good weather is over. It now rains almost all day. But nobody can take away what we’ve had. 😉

is it the guitar you build ?
very nice sound -and playing-My question to you, what does EP179 remind you of?
my loved wife (still alive) – everything good reminds me my wife.Where does the white go when snow melts?

Hello Phil,
This is not the guitar I build. This is a Fender Deluxe Nashville Tele.
This guitar has 3 pickups and a 5-way switch. You can choose between neck / neck + middle / middle (= stratocaster middle pickup) / middle + bridge / bridge.
That middle pcikup doesn’t bring much extra in my opinion. I missed the neck + bridge like in a normal tele. That is why I have built in a switch so that I have 2 additional options. Namely neck + bridge & the three pickups together.
I also changed amps and the new amp gets a lot more out of my guitar than my previous one. I now play on a Yamaha THRII 30Wrgs

Nicely done Luc, a great listen. I marvel at how you pull off that finger style while standing. Great job!

Tnx John,
It’s easier for me to play standing up. To be honest, I can’t play while sitting. When I try to play while sitting, the wrist of my left hand is at the wrong angle. With a slightly larger body a Gibson ES-335? But for some incomprehensible reason my wife thinks I already have enough guitars.

Thank you Bob,
I hadn’t thought about it, but it might be a good idea to play outside a little more. But with winter just around the corner, we won’t have much of that chance at first.

Luc, just a super smooth performance. Absolutely loved the tone. I have been looking at this guitar online and was wondering about the middle pickup (Strat) – sounds like a great idea but like you I think I would miss the traditional neck and bridge pickups played together. None of the music stores around here have one to try out. You seem to have electronic knowledge and have solved that problem. Again, great playing.

Hello Clarke,
I bought the guitar because I liked the middle pickup, the locking tuners, the 12 inch radius and the color. In the video on the Fender website, the guitar sounded fantastic.
I don’t know if I would buy the guitar now, because I hardly ever use the middle pickup. I think it is more interesting to have a tele with a 4 way switch. Neck, bridge, neck + bridge parallel, neck + bridge series.Rgs

You can do anything with a telecaster … provided you know how to do it !!! You did !
