    My version of EP127:

Got my guitar on Xmas, and started browsing AM a few days later, then signed up in early Jan. I’m working on a few lessons, but this was the first I felt confident recording.

Still working on bends and hybrid picking, so I’ve adapted this one. Still, I’m floored at my progress, and wouldn’t be here without AM. Thanks Brian!!

Well you got this one nailed , that chugged along nicely , one of my first active melody lessons that planted the seed firmly . Well played

You make it sound like you only just started but I have a feeling you are a veteran player nonetheless -:). One of the things I enjoy is hearing other peoples interpretations of Brian’s lessons and it was great to hear what you came up with on this one. Very much more mellow than what Brian did and, I have to say, I rather like your interpretation of this one. So interesting to hear people developing their own styles.

Great work on this by the way.

Haha, thanks. I’ve played bass for a few decades (did my own for the backing track there) and pretty comfortable with cowboy chords on the acoustic. But still, it feels like a new instrument and I approach with humility. I’m certainly playing In new ways and have a better understanding of the fretboard already. All thanks to AM!

Welcome to AM Alan. You’ve really got a great groove going on here, some fine blues playing. Stick with Brian and you’ll go ahead in leaps and bounds. All the best!

Hey Alan, you got that beautiful guitar playing some very ear catching notes with a lot of youthful vibe too.

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete
