Hi Everyone,
Some time ago I already posted a version of this great tutorial, so I was not entirely sure to step in this months challenge. Although the late J.J. Cale cannot be served enough ofcourse…
However, a forum post of Gene (@BluGenes) about the Electro Harmonix B9 Organ Machine changed my mind. I headed for making made my own backing track of the EP103, using this guitar pedal to record the characteristic organ parts. Gene, thanks again for introducing the B9 Organ Machine pedal to the AM-community!
I used the good old Zoom RhythmTrak device and my bass guitar to built up the groove, I picked a semi acoustic Hagstrom (rhythm) and Telecaster (rhythm & lead) for the guitar parts and played a Vox SSC33 in open G-tuning to create the organ sounds. All tracks have been recorded and mixed on the Tascam DP-03 portastudio.
I hope you will enjoy this version, and the backing track :-).
Regards,
PatrickPatrick
