Lights.yeah man lights, I was going through all them youtube clips and to be honest, these clips are for the most part for me to see my own before and after progress.. many of them were rushed out to fast..mistakes / low quality presentation/ recording I think that it is time to scrap the scrapbook sortta speak lol .. I’m either heavily consolidating or deleing everything.. most of it was just for showplays here anyways.. thanks everyone! .. i’m enjoying Active Melody , just think my youtube account is too old..way too many AM videos ..not even sure if they are private ..doesn’t matter but it is just something i thought to do/
and i con anytime redo any Active Melody lesson (even some of the few I missed).. the thing I noticed,, a lot of youtubers post ,uch less but much better presentations,, I figured why have so many amatuer clips from AM especially! lol.. kinda corny yah know? lol

Yes John, it really gives you a country feeling. The bpm is typical of son and spreads harmony and somehow calm; Nashville cannot be missed. Greeting
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Nice playing, Sunburst!
With regard to your reply to Lights, I wouldn’t get rid off any of your old stuff on this site that you think is not perfect (if I were you) . I like to see your progress and I can always learn things and get ideas from your posts, even your stuff that you might think is sub-par (but still beyond my ability).
Also, you can play all the different styles well, which is another big plus for me to keep following your posts.
So keep them coming, Sunburst!
Finally, a lot of monthly Challenge submissions have evolved into major professional-quality productions to me, which is cool and inspiring to watch, but beyond my ability. For my progress, I prefer the Showcase part of the site (more posts of more lessons but maybe not as much high quality or with as much practice) over the Challenge part of the site. But its all good and complementary.

GOOD MORNING Wilfried , yes I recommend revisiting as many the old lessons and reviewing them entirely.. afterall, all these lessons are classic riffs and rhythm progressions from classic artist or guitarist .. Lights just reminded me of the famous Blind Blake from the early 1920s.. ragtime blues mostly easy but alternating finger stlye plucking double with alternating base lines.. yup.. on a old subscribed fover five years and plum forgot about Jim Bruce’s favorite Blind Blake introductions.. think I remember Meelis asking me several seasons back where I demo’d a blind blake I learned from him online!
So now I have Brian’s blues and mixed Genres to practicee.. still studying more the bluegrass flatpicking genre.. now thanks to lights reminding me of some classic must learn and practice ragtime classics….I have to compare delta blues too.. think some of the slide melodic stuff is cool in those delta blues progressions too! .. okay have a wonderful day everybody!

yes Larry, I thought so too.. eventually I plan on focusing more on presentations,, that is, using better audio and video.. still learning a bunch too,, but many here are just amatuer video recordings .. Think I’ll start sifting through them all this month ,, leave some i think are good enough for now..thanks for sharing Larry! -
