Very cool, John. Nice tone and nice even playing. I noticed a couple of deviations from Brian’s rhythm, notably the pauses in the second half before the double stops. But your way works as well.

Thanks ,, you are right and appreciate your help too Duffy.. hey you ever watch this guy? I remember this guy five years ago , just went back to his site and amazed how cool he really is,, he plays by ear like a pro.. and knew this from years ago.. I always liked watching him knowing he explained he doesn’t know theory or how to read tab.. I remember commenting a few times as how he does it but never insulted him ever in the least bit..yet others obviously did.. but if you’d see this you’ll understand https://youtu.be/jBkcaVOA1ZE

Reason why I linked the guitarist was for others to see how well this guy played without much knowledge of basic theory, he always played a lot of different tunes by ear which i find amazing .. but I believe learning theory as well as practicing to read tab like the moving soundslice with the metronome has helped me immensely last few years. I posted this cause seen he last video and why he decided to close his channel. Too many stupid comments and dumb people on youtube.. listen to him explain, watch the link i posted above. ..i sure hope / think my youtube is private or i should hope i disabled comments! lol

Sad, I didn’t know he stopped posting. I think he’s got a point, may Active Melody remain a “core group of people that get it”.

JohnI was surprised too but, can understand after he explained why,, think he said he started a new channel maybe to disable youtube comments,, yeah but just happened to click on his channel because i was looking for “green onions” on youtube and the auto recommended showed his version.. that is when i checked his most recent /last video .. stupid people even threatening his wife or whatever bs.. yeah like i said, not sure about that youtube..hope my account is as private as i thought i read in tos.. anyway..EP 153 is certainly a good challenge ..practiced it a bit this morning.. great timing lots of Clapton feel for sure..vibrato bends hammer-ons slides.. slow but a lot in each measure both rhythm and the solo. like this Octobers challenge!

Best Louie, Louie lead I’ve ever seen on the internet: One of the first things I tackled after I bought the Strat. (Before Active Melody).

Great Interpretation, John. On the Attack, and the Timing is still a little work.
The Sound was really good.Wilfried
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

John, I forgot to include in my earlier post that I enjoyed your playing on this. Fun to watch. You really turn these lessons out fast.
