Hello,
thank you for the useful tips. I did so and on Monday I bought a very fine used Lakewood M32 Custom in best condition for a moderate Price (new € 2.700)
My new friend is perfect fit for elegant and soulful Ballads, but not optimal for wild strumming or dirty Blues bends. (This job is reserved for my old Hoyer Dreadnought until it looks like Willie Nelsons battered “Trigger”) Installed is a Lakewood Sonic System from Shadow with one pick-up under the Bridge and another one under the fretboard. So it can be balanced between Piezo and magnetic pick-up. The Guitar has a direct sustain and there are a lot of opportunities, to create good sounds for different styles. (Its not particular my strong point)
Here my first Song with the new Guitar: EP 068 Country in Style of David Rawlings. I simplified the second part, because the 2 trills in one measure didn t work. The Sound of recording is not optimal, I must find a warmer setting.Dieter
