I found that out after playing with the awesome tab viewer so I post it, perhaps you guys are already familiar with it.
If you go to the tab viewer’s settings (three dots and then the gear) you have there an option to print the tablature. On the print screen there is a select printer drop box. When you click on it you usually have an option to save to a PDF.
This probably depends on which computer and browser you use, but I think most of them nowadays will have it.The advantage in saving it this way is that you can save in different tab formats. You can select the format first on the settings under Track appearance. You can add chord charts, add notations, play with it as you like, and then press print and select save to PDF. I use it to save the notations plus the tabs.
(and of course, you can also actually print it that way..)You need to do it in normal page view. It doesn’t format well in full screen view.
