Hi, I don’t know where to begin this discussion because I’m not sure how many others have had a similar experience. I’ve been playing for about 10 years and consider myself a decent Intermediate player. I recently had open heart surgery for a triple bypass operation. Upon waking up after surgery, I noticed my little finger and ring finger on my left hand (fretting hand) are numb and unmanageable. This is annoying I was wondering if others have had a similar experience?? I’m trying to learn to play smaller versions of larger chords, as bar chords are out of the question. I don’t want to give up the guitar, but this has severely handicapped my ability and in some respects I am starting over. Any advice or discussion would be most helpful.
