That’s the way to do it, Dave! I love that lesson but it is tricky to master, indeed. You have done an exceptional job with it, great sound of your parlor guitar as well. What is it?

Thanks JoLa. I started out thinking I’d spend a week or two on that piece but bringing it up to speed was the tricky part for me, Brian makes it look so easy. I’m playing one of the original less expensive Larrivee Parlors that I’ve had for quite awhile. It’s a fun little size to sit on the couch with.

Well played Dave. Great sounding acoustic and loved the effect of the different view using the mirror. Intentional or a fluke? All the best and a Happy New Year!

Anything but easy to play; you respected it pretty well though. Thumbs up.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Taking a tough piece like that, kudos to you. This style of playing would suit your direction. Keep up the good work.

Cracking job Dave, I really enjoyed watching you play that style. Something which I don’t do very well. Loved your parlour guitar, it’s looks and sounds great.

It’s simply great to hear these old lessons given new life, excellent submission and we’ll played.
I think we all come away from an open month and say oooo must try a few of those old lessons.

Don’t look now Dace but there’s a bloke behind you playing exactly the same tune! Really well played. Liked it a lot. Yet another lesson of Brian’s that I need to visit!

I know, learning this piece can be very frustrating. So hats off, thumbs up. The whole thing sounds almost like a banjo to me. Very interesting to listen to.

Probably one of my favourite lessons , the improv you can add to this is endless , it is a tricky one for sure but you got that down with perfect tempo and timing . Excellent well played .

That’s good playing, Dave. You kept your groove and got me tapping. Nice guitar. I wish I had such a nice little acoustic guitar. Hide

Hi Dave I know first hand how this tune could be tricky as it was a challenge of some years ago. I think you played it well and your larrive sounds great too
Nicely done
