HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Now that’s over I took on a bit of a task this month due to the eat drink and be merry periods practice time was kind of tight and I didn’t get time to do extra’s.
This is EP106 Keith Richards style Rhythm and Lead Guitar, what’s really cool about this lesson is there’s a backing track minus LEAD and RHYTHM game on to sound at least as good as Brian’s Rhythm playing phew what a challenge would I crumble under the pressure?
How Brian just nocks out these Rhythm tracks with effortless abandon is beyond me, I get why Keif takes off the top E when playing Rhythm, nightmare. Both tracks were recorded with my Les Paul Memphis (Volume 8 for Rhythm 9 for Lead Bridge pickup tone at 8) into an Origin Effects Revival Drive set to Fender Crunch with Plate Reverb.
Recorded straight into a Focusrite Scarlett.I did try my Fender Strat but it sounded way to thin just goes to show how much more umphhh a Tele has
