Old classic Hank Williams tune that I try to cover instrumentally. A few flubs here and there but I didn’t want to try it again (this is the second take I recorded). If you listen to it all the way through I think the best part was the turn around at the end. Now many will say the best part was that it’s over.😁 Stay safe ya’ll.

      That was so beautiful.

I’d like to find out about the drums. Been looking for a backing track with those type of drums beats.

      Thanks

The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6stringerPete

It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 Pete

Hey Pete those drums are a part of a Yamaha PSR 3000 keyboard/work station. We just used one of the many onboard backing sequences for this one. Although you can customize anything you want to do we find a lot of built in stuff works just great. I think this keyboard has maybe 200 drum and bass combinations with 4 variations on each one, so that’s a lot to choose from. Of course you can vary the tempo to whatever it is you are looking for. Thanks for the nice comment.

Well played Clarke. Guitar style and playing fitted perfectly for this classic Hank Williams track. Really enjoyed it, hadn’t heard this one for a while. All the best!

Garry thank you, just an old classic country guy who someday may take a stab at a blues tune. I’m still searching for your tone.

Great work there Clarke on a very sad song by Hank!! Your playing gave this song just the right feeling it needs to be close to the way he felt while writing it!!As a youngster in the fifty’s,I loved all his music, and always thought that he lived a short and troubled life!! Again, great job with feeling!!…………Sal

Wonderful cover of this classic song. Lots of double stops, slides, sixths and thirds gave it that authentic sound.
