          Kind of a broad question, but I hope some of this helps. Using C as an example:

          Open string C
          Half barre C
          3 inversions of C
          Grand barre C
          D-shape of C
          Barre chord C (which is the next octave)

          As for progression (major, minor, minor, major, major, minor, diminished)

          C
          Dm
          Em
          F
          G
          Am
          Bdm
