Hello,
here my first public attempt to improvise free without any tabs or notation sheets. It’s a very helpful lesson but a real challenge, to create enough variations to get not boring. (btw. only 6 notes had been allowed, but there was no prohibition about numbers of guitars – lol)

Dieter,
You hit your target notes nicely and bend into them as well. I like where you took this. Love the varied guitar approach. Thanks for sharing. -

Well done, Dieter. My only disappointment was the limited number of guitars, I saw that strat over on the left!

Nice Job Dieter, I was steeling a lot from a BB Video I saw. That was helpful.

Hey Dieter, that was cool! I have to look again; was it guitars or six notes? LOL. Nice collection you have there. Anyway; I think it was the right decision to play without a sheet of music. You will cope better and better with it. Best regards to the south!
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Well played Dieter.
You certainly got the idea of the challenge and played some nice melodies.
It is a challenge to not sound repetitive but that is a lesson in playing less. If you play less each go round you can then last more rounds! -

Very good idea to change the guitar, and good personal phrasing

I for one was NOT bored. Enjoyed it and the guitar switch out. 😀

This is was an excellent approach, Dieter! I like seeing you play without tablature and you stayed within the limits of just 6 notes – I think – and made it sound cohesive. Seamlessly swapping guitars was a good trick, I gotta try it sometime 😉

Great work, melodic and a great feel for accompanying the backing track. I think you may have started something with the guitar swapping.

Like a pro, Dieter. Perhaps not publically, but clearly you must have done lots of improvising before. Very versatile. Goes to show how important (and inspiring) it is to own several guitars.

Jammin very well indeed Dieter.. the difference in tones very little must be solid state simulator amp.. think the lp has more gain sustain but they both sound great! fun demo..I like comparing guitar tones too lol

Can’t believe that was the first time you’ve gone solo on improvising, it sounded so natural and fluid. Not only that you kept to 6 note rule (which I didn’t!). Great playing 👍
