Hello Brian,
I have gone thorough the lesson several times now (I think I bought it the day it came out). I have gotten pretty good at moving the licks up or down the fretboard as required to play along with the different keys of the three jam tracks. That has really helped my fretboard knowledge. I thought this would be difficult when reading your tabs, but actually I have found the brain makes the transition pretty easily.
My question is this-how did you come up with licks that work over the I, the IV, and the V without landing on any “clunkers” at the end of the lick?
I think If I understood this concept it would really increase my confidence when improvising over a 12 bar blues.
Thanks much, great course!
