Excellent! Very well played, and a good quality recording. Even while Covid19 rages all round you, you managed to focus and keep practicing, and it was well worth it.

Yes, cases rising again here in Switzerland and allover Europe. Future uncertain. We are so lucky to have our guitars and share music.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOh Me Gosh Denise!!! I am not a jazz “student”. However, I am a jazz lover. So I speak as a true “fan” versus another gitfiddlist! That was beautiful. Your slide half way through put George Benson (guitarist and fellow Yinzer)) and Stanley Jordan (bassist) on notice that Denise (DRChetty) is here and watch aht ‘n @! Your true musical passion seems to be with jazz. If I can be “selfish” here, please keep adding The Blues and some Classic Rock style to your playing. When a musician like Eric Clapton, Larry Carlton, Robben Ford and Matt Schofield add all those elements, they sound like you! Keep at it DD! You rock (or jazz) (or Blues). I agree with Jon – I did not want it to end! This a submission worthy of 4:30 of air time! Ut

What I have heard is very beautifully played but Soundcloud links me to a Robin Chet? Perhaps Denise is this in fact you or has my browser thrown a false link up?

Hey John! Hope all is well! Robin Chet is Denise! LOL. That’s her CIA/FBI code name!! Hahaha

Hmm better keep quite about that then Bob. Is she a music spy?

At least one song has been written about her:
All the little birds on Jaybird Street, love to hear the Robin go “tweet tweet tweet”.
Rockin Robin (bop, bop, bop-she-bop)Oh no, now we’re starting to lose the plot….

As I said in previous showcases of yours Denise, you are fast becoming a force to be reckoned with.
I take it this is the track you mentioned in your message, You are certainly at the stage where you dont need any pointers from someone of my level of playing..
You also seem to have a flair for nailing the recording levels, playing and backing track was seamless..
Looking forward to hearing more...Billy..

Thank you all for your feedback.
I feel so much excitment about guitar playing since joining AM. To see all the different artists here and how they are improving is a motivation.

I absolutely love this song, and you did a cracking job with it. Rich tone, nice and tight rhythmically and with plenty of melodic embellishments. Going back for another listen.

Hi Denise,
Delightful rendition! It sets the mood perfectly for cocktail time, which starts in a few minutes . . .Bruce
PS: Nice jazz tone on that guitar. What kind did you say that was?Just focus on the notes you DID get right . . . Frank Vignola

The lyrics of the song are actually about a love that has gone…this is not for cocktails!

Played very well, Denise. This melody is very good and you played it appropriately, soulfully.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.
