Hi All,
Here is my attempt at EP 197.
Well done!
Very good timing, and I especially liked your percussive slapping technique!
- "Pretty Fingers Parker"
Well done, solid rhythm throughout. What’s the guitar hanging on the wall if you don’t mind me asking? Epiphone Sheraton?
Jordan
Well done Richard. Very nice rendition of that lovely piece of music. I like the sound of your guitar. Is that a D28?
Very nice, you got that percussive thing down well (I really struggle with it), nice mellow version, well recorded, Bri would be proud. Thanks
Richard,
Wow! That was beautiful! I love the tempo and the soft tone, full of feeling that you captured in your rendition! Very, very nice!
Bravo.
Cheers, Debra
Richard – You really captured the feel of this song. And as others have mentioned, you did a really good job with the slapping technique. Beautiful tone, too. Great job.
Gary
Nailed it, Richard. Well done!! Should have taken a second lap. You had a groove going….
Marty
Richard That has a nice vibrancy you made it sound very nice well played. you have given it a very comforting feel.
JohnStrat
very good Richard! Think you got the percussion good..i struggled with that first time so know it ain’t as easy but you got it good! cheers!
Richard,
I laughed at that “I’m not sure….take pity on me” look at the start. I thought you did great. I started learning this one tonight and it’s got lots of moving parts for sure. Frustrated me for quite a while. You’ll have to stick with this stuff for the sake of that nice Martin.
John
Nice playing, Richard! That sound on your guitar is awesome.
Larry
Good rhythm and percussive playing, nice job, and you made it look fairly easy. I just might have to give it a go myself.
-Matthew
Really nice, and awesome sound of your guitar makes my soul ring!
Lights
Beautiful tribute to Bri, your playing is great on this Richard, well done!
