All the cables, hoses and chords are a pain to deal with. Any suggestions?

When I was a kid, there was no such disease. They just called it asthma. And people who had it used to move to Arizona or New Mexico.

Sunjamr,
Have considered Utah, Phoenix is as polluted as any other big city now.
I have emphysema and have just been told to be on O2 24 hours a day, Stage 4. Just counted 7 cords, cables and hoses around me…

Must make it difficult to hold a guitar. I would spend a lot of time Googling every aspect of COPD, until I became an expert. Then I would do every single thing I could to make it better, even if it meant moving to a new location. In the end, it’s too much mucous in your lungs, and the cilia in your alveoli are not flicking it up and out of your lungs fast enough. Check out Section 6 of this research paper:

Get a boom mic stand (the style drummers use) set it up behind
you and put the boom above your shoulder.
Attach all the hoses and cords to it.
Nice and neat and out of the way. -

Gary,
I am sorry to hear of you plight. Having looked after a loved one dependant on oxygen concentators etc I have some idea of how trying it all is. Obviously the best way out would be a remission of your problems. I have an idea that Probiotics may have helped some lung conditions but I have no real knowledge. So below are two Probiotic type links to things you might like to review.
I believe that these can be helpful to all sorts of problems by supporting the balance underlying the gut microbial system and thus restorative of the immune system. I know two people who have used them and now swear by them. I don’t know if they could possibly help your condition but you might like to look at what is claimed about them. And I cannot say that it is known for certain that they have been the curing hand in my friends cases but if not then there is coincidence.
So far as the Immortalis (which is very expensive) is concerned I have a friend who believes it played a significant roll in his recovery from an asophogous cancer which when first examined he was told he had little chance of recovery as it was beyond operable and therefor Chemo/ radiation therapy was the only choice to slow it down. He used the product for a brief period prior to his treatment. I gather the tumor cleared at the earliest stages of the therapy, which was apparently almost unknown and the medics were entirely astounded.
Subsequently he made a full recovery and was then advised that it would be good precautionary practice to remove the tissue from the area in which it had originated albeit that there was no sign of disease there but in their experience it would likely re emerge in the future. He opted for the surgery and apparently the pathology of all the tissue removed was no presence of tumor cells at all. That started about a year ago and he is now in pretty good shape with no sings of illness and using daily doses of probiotics but a cheaper brand Metabolics combocillus powder. The Immortalis certainly seems to be remarkable stuff but whether it has any relevance for you only you can work that out.
