Hello everyone. Gary from North Carolina – Nice to meet you all. I’m 65, played professionally in my teens and 20’s. Gave it up for far too many years and forgot most everything. I’m enjoying the site very much – Give me a little time to get my fingers moving again and I’ll post a few. Mostly jazz & blues. Happy New Year! Thanks

Hi Gary and welcome to the site and forum. Happy to have you aboard. Did you keep your gear from years ago?
Playing music on the guitar is like sculpturing your soul with musical notes. 🙂 6stringer pete
The melody of the notes is what expresses the art of music . 🙂 6 stringer Pete
It really is all about ”melody”. The melody comes from a language from our heart. Our heart is the muscle in music harmony. The melody is the sweetness that it pumps into our musical thoughts on the fretboard. 🙂 6 stringer Pete

Thank you, I look forward to learning some new stuff. Everyone seems very friendly!
I kept some of what was near and dear to me – certainly not all. I still have my 1-owner 73 Gibson Les Paul Recording. And, I have my 80’s Legend Super Lead 50 amp. And, I kept my 80’s USA-made Ovation.
Now, I mostly play my Godin LGX-SA thru a Vox hand-wired AC15 with alnico blues and a Boss GP-10 synthesizer.
I have a few other guitars laying around as well. My wife finally confined me to a dedicated music room, so I’m able to keep things close at hand.
What do you play?
