Great selection of A-Ha moments there Bob 👍
The important thing that comes across is: One a-ha moment, plus another a-ha moment doesn’t just equal two; it’s so much more than that, as it adds new colours and flavourings to everything you’ve learnt before – it snowballs!
Best wishes buddy 😎

Hey Bobby, I had a spare 20 minutes to kill so thought that I would tune in to see what you’re up to. Your laundry bill must be through the roof with that range of T-shirts that you were sporting! I hope you have an understanding wife – and that she doesn’t stand by the door late at night with a rolling pin in her hand. I don’t know that song but it sounds like it’s right up my street so I’ll (as you yanks say) ‘check it out’ Good to see you on form and I feel I got to know you just a bit more. Isn’t it great that music, and guitar music especially, can being so many people together! Stay safe.

I’m awash with your aha moments. The one I was REALLY interested in was the 2+3 rule. Why have I never heard this before? You made it look so easy – this definitely needs to be checked out. Thanks for sharing.

Outstanding video Bob. Interrupted my Olympic Watching and singing our National Anthem for the umpteenth time but that’s okay, it was worth it. Ha Ha! (Not A Ha!) You really need to get your own Prime Time TV Show or even on Official You Tube Channel. Watched every minute and learnt some things along the way. Didn’t realize the 2 + 3 rule so thanks for sharing and thanks for reminder about engaging with the audience (something you do extremely well). Anyway, massive effort and time spent here and we appreciate it. Now back to the Olympics. Aussie, Aussie Aussie! Oi! Oi! Oi! All the best! Also great Vince Gill interpretation too, a gem!

Good ideas, Bob. Actually, one of my light bulb moments came from you: Learning how to play without looking at my fretboard. That activated a whole new area of my brain circuitry, since you have to learn in a non-visual way, using only kinetic senses. And it turns out kinetic learning lets you play faster and more accurately. So thanks, and I owe you one.

What a video, Bob. You did a lot of work and explained everything very well.
Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

Bobby,my firat reaction on seeing your video was “Aha… someone has crossed my 10 minutes, thank God”
I think the video and the voice has somehow got un-sync sed, (around 3 to 9 minute mark, and was ok thereafter) or is that happening with my device only?? (because no one else mentioned that.
I saw the entire video. All are excellent takeaway, but the easiest and the best… Play (not work) the guitar, I need to imbibe that. I loved your singing, you do that with so much energy. I sing a bit too, hence specially enjoyed that. Also “Little Wing” remains in my bucket list, like all guitar enthusiasts. Thanks for the entire overview.
Its only a silver till now for India, in the Olympics waiting for a few more.

Hi Bob , that was a wonderful story of your Aha moments some very fine points that we can all glean from ,the 2+3 idea is cool ,and not looking at the fretboard all the time is two points that stood out for me . I’m impressed the way you can pull out a tune on the fly . Thanks for sharing.

Hi Bob, first of all I noticed the great T-shirts you have…! They go with the variety of aha moments you presented… This is a video I absolutely have to rewatch from time to time in order to remind me of all the things I have learned like you and the things I still have to work on… Thanks for sharing! Fantastic contribution!

Thank you every one for watching. I tried to condense it, but sooooo many A Ha moments that I could not stop. James, I coached the first-ever American to qualify for the sport of triathlon – Jennifer Gutierrez. She had a great run to the Games and ended up 13th that day. I’m enjoying all the subs so far! My first a-ha moment (and your 2nd) I owe to YOU: holding my pick with 2 fingers! Thanks to your insisting…and sharing your guitar light bulbs with me when I joined AM in May 20.
Great playing of the Hendrix song (you could have played the entire song!).
And yes, I watched the entire video.
All the best to you. Keep on playing awsome stuff.

Thank you very much for these lessons, Bob. I enjoyed the whole video very much and time flew by without me noticing.👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
Moreover, special thanks for the major- minor rule. I did not know this: playing the major over the 1, but preferably the minor over the 4 and 5. Boom, light bulb 😮Bluesige Grüße

Not a ha moment but a ha ha ha ha ha ha ha….ha ha moment.
It sounds like a laughing man rather a surprised one, heart joy explosion? This litany of ha is also contagious (this is really fashon these days) as you highlight me on some topics. I particularly like your ” play guitar” that meet something maturing in me.
Could you,if not asking too much, post something like ‘minute in the video, ah moment associated’, so we can quickly recover them and take time to savor your jokes ( hybrid but not my car)

Bob you need you own channel! Not only a fine player but a natural communicator with a great sense of fun. Lots of Ah ha moments for me to walk away with here especially 2+3 rule. One ah ha that remains unanswered is whatever happened on Thursday Night!!! Must have been awesome!

Bobby, you are an absolute blast to watch! At first I was like, 19 minutes, oh dear, but before you even ended A-HA moment #1 I was thoroughly entertained and wanted more! It anyone can pull off 19 minutes of entertaining presentation, it is you for sure!
Your A-HA! moments were great, I surely share some of them – especially #1! I never heard of the 3-2 rule so I learned something just now! And then you gave us a history of blues in under one minute (it’s ok to steal tip) 😃
I must tell ya, this is your best video yet, so well done!!!!!! You should seriously consider being a regular Youtuber and grow your channel so you can retire early from the tooth workshop and share your REAL talent! You are so entertaining and definitely have the gift of the gab as they say in Ireland 😉 not to mention an extensive knowledge of music overall, like a human blues encyclopedia! And man, you can play, have fun AND play at the same time!
P.S. Your Friday morning hair cracked me up! 😂

So much to share Bob and not enough time to convey it all about sharing your guitar journey insights. You definitely are a good communicator. A lot of ground was covered from small things that show we should not disregard as trivial to bigger things like music influencers. Two lightbulbs went off for me when you played the minor and major in the same area, to think horizontally not just vertically and the second was linking the notes from patterns rather than jumping over to them. Well done on your video.

Oh my! Tears in his eyes! Cinderella story! Thank you so much for watching even TWO MINUTES of my Monongahela run off of da mouth! I just couldn’t stop for music is my hobby PASSION! Yinz all Rock and you Roll! JoLa, will you coach me on better editing skills?? Laurel, if I can provide just one A HA moment to anyone on this 3rd rock from the sun, I have had a great day ‘n @!!! And Snake, the triathlon was a “self-challenge” for me back in 1987 for I could not swim 50 meters in a pool! And so I worked on my game! Did more and more triathlons. Dropped my 1500m swim from 40:00 to 19:50. Met an athlete that was beating all the men and woman back in 1994. Asked her if I could coach her. She agreed – the rest is her at Sydney in 2000. My point is: Hey AMers, put your heart and mind to a goal and FREAKIN’ GO FOR IT!!!! Our only limits? Our own silly brains!!! Yinz got this! Brian is an amazing COACH! And we have over two or three hundred ‘regulars’ on AM that are great influences and coaches, too!

Hey Bobby, I have been on the road and have been looking forward to this months submissions. I did not want to rip through them because I knew there would be a ton of good information. Wow man! You knocked this one out of the ball park. I really enjoyed every minute of your presentation. I just love your energy and commitment to what ever you do in life. You are inspirational and what we need in the world right now…. positive energy, attitudes and common ground. I love it Bobby. I am going to go back and watch the “Give Me Three Steps” segment. I always wanted to learn that one. Cheers my friend. You are awesome! Pap
