This was a tough one for me, requires a lot of subtlety which is something I have very little of. But it was fun and a real challenge. Thanks for listening…

I meant to add this is an mp3 done with Garage Band and not a video, I’ll get there some day…..

Sounds great Bruce, very smooth playing! What guitar is that??

That sounded great Bruce, you played that really well, one or two pauses but overall very smooth indeed. Love the guitar, is it a Little Sister/crossroads?

That was really great playing Bruce! It’s as good as it gets,, you got the tab tight,, first half 100% like me a couple shaky measures but dang who cares you got it! lol what amazes me is how Brian plays his own compositions so tight! Goes to show there is a lot going on besides reading following tab! it is feel and tempo and understanding timing of notation ,, that is why teachers recommend their students learning how to read staff notation besides tab.. but we do have soundslice and visualization and standard staff notation with these fun lessons and it sure is helping us all have fun! .. btw nice little sister , very nice tones from it for sure! Enjoyed!

You guys are killing me with 277. Another great posting. I need a while more on it before I do one. My two cents. 277 is one of the most beautiful pieces I think Brian has written. Is it fast or overly fancy? no, it is just a beautiful piece of music. Yes, couple parts on the 2nd half giving me fits too. This one is a keeper.

Brian, if you are reading this, I wonder if you realize just how good of a songwriter you are.

Thanks, and the guitar is a Little Sister Crossroads, just love the tone on that…it’s probably my favorite guitar. And Tom, you are right, it is a beautiful piece. It was extremely difficult to get down, you have to put a lot of feeling into it and being as mechanical as I am it’s not an easy task…

Bruce, you played it very nicely. I really enjoyed it. Just beautiful; every second!!!

Play guitar just like you live; don't get bogged down in theory, it's just a tool without feeling.

That was well done, Bruce, the tempo was quite challenging. The Little Sister really does have a beautiful tone. Which pick ups did you have installed?

Thanks John, the pick-ups are P90s. I ordered this from the Music Zoo in NY a while back, I think this was the last one in the US at the time. They are still on back order I believe.

Great playing, Bruce, very smooth! I thought I was ok playing this lesson until I heard you play it so back to practice for me 😉
Love love love the Little Sister’s tone, it’s like a smooth chocolate with raspberries 😋

Very nicely done and yes the technique in this lesson is everything and you have mastered it 99%. That takes a lot of doing. Yes the Little sister sets this off nicely. I can play this but nothing like as well and smoothly as you and my Strat is a great guitar but a hollow body is ideal for this as your crossroads shows.

                                    All the best JohnStrat
