I’m not surprised Bryce. I own a small woodworking business. Established 30 years. I manufacture and sell all over the country. This last 18 months or so I have never seen anything like it. I haven’t had a full day off since March or so. I am borderline burned out. I can’t keep up and am turning down business. Every contractor I speak with daily all over the country is the same way. Everywhere. The economy is on fire and people are spending.
I have bought two high end guitars the last 15 months and eyeing a custom B&G. The quality of instruments today and so superior. Yes, they cost more, but I have been kicking around long enough not to wax nostalgic over something old just because it is old. While on the subject, got to play one of those Alverez guitars everyone talks about here recently. How the heck to they do that at that price? Amazing instruments for next to nothing. This is truly the golden age.
Had a leak in my plumbing last month, soonest I could get a plumber was three-four weeks. Called all of them in the phone book. All of them. I ended up having to dig a trench from my house 100 feet to the street because I couldn’t find any one to do it……even at plumber $100 an hour rates. I’m taking the money I saved and buying that B&G.

That’s incredible. Didn’t realize their sales had skyrocketed. Great to see!

So THAT’s why they’ve been sending me so many emails trying to get me to buy stuff. I’ve been getting at least two a week lately.

I am fortunate enough to live only about an hour from Sweetwater. It is quite an experience to visit.
