BB King Lesson was tops…. Essential, simple…just great!

Interesting all the 5 notes BB uses are from the Major scale. Four (4) of the five notes are from the Major Pentatonic the other is the 4th which is part of the Minor Pentatonic. In either scale I think the 4th is typically not a note to dwell on but a passing tone.

I love the way the same pattern is shifted down 2 frets and you now have the minor Pentatonic. Super easy! Even I might remember that and be able to use it in the heat of the moment.
