I thought I would share with you a problem I was having and how I realized how to remedy it. Excuse me if I use some wrong terms in my explanation. I was having problems with getting intonation @ 100%, and along with that my amp seemed to be putting out a crappy sound. When octaves hit the amp they would kind of buzz and have a horrible sounding reverb or wah-wah sound. Then I found some videos put up on YouTube by guitar Luthier Galeazzo Frudua on intonation, pickups adjustment and truss rod. In the pickups adjustment video he explained and showed the sound I was getting. I was able to adjust my pickups by sound and intonation after watching this video. I hadn’t known that the pickups height would affect intonation until watching his videos. Give his videos a look if you get the time.

Cool, thanks for sharing Luch.  Very helpful.  Once you get your guitar all set up, you’ll have to put a video up on YouTube and let us hear it. smile
