Hi Guys,

On the link you’ll find my Band’s cover version of “The Letter”. The recording definately leaves room for improvement, but I’d really appreciate your honest feed-back on what we’re doing.

The Letter:

Gear:

Lead Guitar is a Strat through a Peavey Classic 30. Rythm guitar - me - is a 335 Neck PU through a Fender Super Reverb with a medium gained drive pedal assigned.

Shoot away smile

Cheers

???

What I meant was, that I’m using a drive pedal with medium gain to get the crunch.

I like the way you guys do that song. I too played it years ago but I think your way is cooler, especially the vocal.

Was Am F7 D9 D7 etc chorus C G F ?

The recording is very good for raw cut. A sound Tech is a studio could easily clean it up and balance it for you. Do not QUIT !!!
