In this lesson, we'll cover the 7th pattern two. This is technically not a barre chord, but it is a pattern that can be used up and down the neck. Start with a C 7th chord, which is first finger, first fret, second string, second finger, second fret, fourth string, third finger, third fret, fifth string, fourth finger, third fret, third string. Strum down the middle four strings with the pick. This pattern can be moved fret by fret toward the guitar body to create 7th chords – C♯, D, D♯, E and so forth.
