This Section Of The Beginner Guitar Course Covers The Following:
So far in the Active Melody Beginner Guitar Course I have focused on using the left hand to create notes and chords and down strokes have been used in strumming with the right hand. In this lesson, we'll be learning alternate strumming (combination of down strookes and up strokes) three new strumming patterns will be introduced:
- Up and down strokes will be used together rhythmically;
- Variations on down-up will be added to rhythm; and
- An arpeggio, which is picking the notes out of the chords individually, will also be covered.
