The E7 chord is a bridge chord between the E chord and the A chord. Start with the E chord and add your pinky (fourth finger) to the third fret, fifth string to create the E7 chord. Use the following fingering:
- First finger, first fret, third string
- Second finger, second fret, fifth string
- Third finger, second fret, fourth string
- Fourth finger, third fret, fifth string
- Strum down on all six strings
