This Section Of The Beginner Guitar Course Covers The Following
The C7 chord creates a nice bridge between C and F. To create a C7 chord, start with the C chord and add the pinky finger. Use the following fingering:
- First finger, first fret, second string
- Second finger, second fret, fourth string
- Third finger, third fret, fifth string
- Fourth finger, third fret, third string
- Strum down on the top five (lower) strings
Moving the same finger pattern up the neck creates other seventh chords including C# 7th, and D 7th chords. For these chords strum only the middle four strings.
