5.7 E Minor Chord (Full Chord)

In this section you will learn to play the full E minor chord. Note that major chords are the happier-sounding chords. Minor chords have a sadder sound. Many songs are played with both major chords and minor chords. To create the E minor chord use the following fingering:
- First finger, second fret, fifth string
- Middle finger, second fret, fourth string
- Third finger, second fret, third string
- Strum all 6 strings
You should strum down all six strings. Make sure your fingers are arched, not touching any other strings.
