This Section Of The Beginner Guitar Course Covers The Following:


In this section you will learn to play the full A minor chord. To create the A minor chord use the following fingering:

  • First finger, first fret, second string
  • Second finger, second fret, fourth string
  • Third finger, second fret, third string
  • Strum the top 5 strings (skip the bottom E string)


The third finger is closest to the fret. You should strum five strings, excluding the low E (top) string.
