In this lesson the you will learn to play the lead part (or melody) to the first song! Included is the rhythm tablature, in addition to Jam Tracks which now contains bass, drums and rhythm, but is missing the lead. Use only down strokes at this point. The major scale, minor scale and blues scale will be covered. Jam Track starts with eight click tracks which set the tempo. Start with the fifth click, which is before the band starts. To avoid moving the hand around more than necessary, line fingers up over the frets to be played. Use the slower Jam Track if necessary. After learning the basics, the music can be jazzed up using additional techniques.
