This Section Of The Beginner Guitar Course Covers The Following:

Beginning in this section and going forward, the third (ring) finger, will be used for the simple G chord instead of the first (pointer) finger. When switching between the simple G chord and simple C chord, using separate fingers will minimize movement of the left hard back and forth. Moving fingers only instead of the entire hand can result in faster playing. Accuracy is a higher priority than speed at this phase. Strum four downstrokes of simple G followed by four downstrokes of simple C. The goal is to make the transition seamless between simple G and simple C. These two chords, when combined with the full D chord, consisting of four strings, will combine to create a song.
