This Section Of The Beginner Guitar Course Covers The Following:


A hammer-on is picking once but getting two notes. Take the tip of the finger and rapidly push down on the neck instead of picking the notes apart. The speed and force creates the second note with a fluid effect. The hammer-on increases speed and creates and interesting tone.

A pull off is opposite of a hammer-on. Starting with finger already pushed down, the string is flicked while releasing the finger to get two different notes.
